Crab spiders can be tough to identify, and the more I researched, the more clear it was that I’m not the only one struggling. So, the spiders below are most likely flower crab spiders. Like jumping spiders, crab spiders are ambush predators, and don’t spin webs. I often see them perched on flowers, waiting for bugs. Some can even change colors based on the flowers they’re on, though it can take several days.
