It’s just been in the last few years that we’ve seen bluebirds at our house. Now they’re some of the most frequent year-round visitors. The males have a brilliant blue back while the females are more of a slate grey. The juveniles are grey and speckled. In the spring, we often see a whole family at the feeder with the adults frantically feeding mealworms to insistent young.
