This is one of the most stunning birds we have here in New Hampshire, and I’d always wanted to see one in our yard. Then, one winter day, a flock descended into our crabapple tree, and I wasn’t here! Fortunately, my wife grabbed some pictures through the front window. Hopefully, one day, I’ll get to see them myself and get some clearer photos.
