Blue Jay

Blue jays are one of the most colorful and smartest birds you’ll see at your backyard feeder. Jays are members of the crow family and can imitate many sounds. Their common call is a loud piercing call. They’ve been called the “alarm bells of the forest” as they screech when danger approaches. Some people consider these birds pests at feeders, but I love them.
