Assassin bugs eat lots of other bugs, pouncing on them, grabbing them with their forearms, and then sucking out their bodily fluids (sheesh!). In the pictures below, you’ll see both adults and nymphs (which are a light green). They apparently can deliver a painful bite. The ringed assassin bug is quite a striking insect with beautiful black and white stripes on its legs.
