Earwigs like dark, damp places, so it’s not uncommon to see them in your bathroom or under kitchen sinks. In the garden, I often find them as I clear out old leaves or pieces of wood. I often see them in the wheelbarrow after I’ve been weeding. They’re harmless, though the can pinch with their rear pincers.
